Events

YSAT hosts in-person events centered around food, education, and community.

Dinners

Food

Meals feature four seasonal dishes, two nonalcoholic beverages, and two desserts. We create recipes that highlight seasonal ingredients and can be easily recreated by our guests at home.

Education

We begin our dinners with food trivia relevant to that night’s theme. Guests are broken into small randomized groups and given a short quiz to answer together. This doubles as a palatable vehicle for food education and a natural ice-breaker. Questions cover a variety of terrain– botany, history, nutrition, sustainability, etc.

Community

All of our events are solo friendly, and we heavily encourage cross-pollinating among guests. Guests are required to wear name tags and provide a short introduction. Additionally, tables are lined with conversation prompts to facilitate discussion about life outside of food.

TRansparentSOURCING

When you attend a YSAT event, you are directly supporting local producers who invest in sustainable farming practices. Ticket prices reflect the cost of these high quality ingredients.

We source produce locally from GrowNYC Greenmarkets and local co-ops, and we source our dry goods from bulk refilleries such as Maison Jar, Precycle, and 4th Street Food Co-op
